The branch manager is a top man! Always active and polite, ready to help everyone!

I had no problems with the stuff, they all were very nice and helping. The only inconvenience is the time that it took to open my account, which could be because I tried to open it online (probably a mistake).

Barclays Bank

153 Chiswick High Rd, Chiswick, London W4 2EA, UK – 0345 734 5345

This branch excellent service and friendly thanks

Open on Saturday morning *and* have Account Manager machines (no need to queue) which earns them a 2 in my book. Small branch but enough machines and staff to go round and ensure you don't need to queue - easily done in Chiswick, where there aren't quite enough ATMs to go round.

Lloyds Bank

112 Kensington High St, Kensington, London W8 4SN, UK – 0345 300 0000

Amazing stuff... slow but very nice and polite.

Building Societies

The Chelsea Building Co

168 Earls Ct Rd, Earls Court, London SW5 9QQ, UK – 020 7259 2247

Have used this company several times and can highly recommend. David and his team were a delight to have around! Mess was kept to a minimum, turned up on time and didn’t land me with extra hidden costs. They even didn’t seem to mind too much when I changed my mind numerous times on things and were very accommodating. Would definitely use them again.

I used Chelsea Building because they were competitive and professional pitching for the business and I was not disapointed. They completed painting the outside of the house and remedial building work on time and to a very high specification.Their workfroce were a pleasure to have on site and they always left the site clean.I would definitely ask them to pitch again for any further building and/or decorating work that I have going forward

304-306 Chiswick High Rd, Chiswick, London W4 1NP, UK – 0800 554 0294

Excellent service from Tracey, Alistair, and teleconference Tom A*

146 Uxbridge Rd, Shepherd's Bush, London W12 8AT, UK – 0800 554 0296

I've moved from this branch. Although conveniently located on the north side of Shepherds Bush Green it has an annoying double entry door that doesn't always work very efficiently and it is easy to collide with people even though you're not supposed to be able to. Watch out if you're struggling with a wet umbrella. Why do these places hardly ever have a bucket to deposit them in. Can get super busy in here with a queue that never seems to move. You can also wait a long time to speak to an advisor.

Great customer service. Very friendly staff. Barely any queuing

Local Chambers of Commerce for W6 7LR. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!

Castelnau Dentists

Fantastic in every respect. I have a terrible phobia of everything dentist-related, however Alex and rest of the team are super-friendly, professional and attentive - and put me at ease completely. They have also worked absolute wonders on my teeth. I cannot recommend this business highly enough.

Understanding, helpful dentist, who had the time to explain everything. I have been to quite a few dentists in my time and Dr Jabour, is definitely one of the best.

The Dentist @ Chiswick

1 Southfield Rd, London W4 1AQ, UK – 020 8994 1525

Ralph Gilhooly, truly is a Remarkable Dentist that I have been seeing for the past 26 years. I was struck off from a number of dentists in South Wales as I had a phobia. His understanding, professionalism & care to his patients is exceptional, along with his humour... I now look forward to going to the dentist to see Ralph and his colleagues who are all very welcoming and put you at ease immediately. He has made a huge impact on my life, giving me the confidence to smile again. If he could do this with me then he could do it for anyone!x I would Highly Recommend anyone to see him, You won't regret it.. Thanks Ralph.

A great team, I have been a patient for 20 years. No hard sell on cosmetics, unnecessary treatments or procedures. Dr. Ralph and team focus on what is best for The Patient. Can't recommend highly enough.

The Bush Doctors

147 Shepherd's Bush Green, London W12 8PP, UK – 020 8749 1882

Well, the receptionists are not quite friendly and a bit miserable (i work at a reception so i know), i can only count 1 who is really lovely. First time there, i had to wait 1h after my appointment time to be seen, i know there is always a waiting time but i've never had to wait that long. The doctor did her job, however rushed me because she was running late and i understand it happens but i told her i have the right to get an appropriate appointment and not be rushed. 2nd time there it was just for a blood test and i also had to wait 40-50min which is surprising since taking blood doesn't take that long. I'm only going there because it's close by but not sure if i can recommend it. I'll book another appointment with another doctor and see how it goes. If you don't want to wait i'll recommend booking early morning appointments.

Quick registration with friendly reception staff. Dr Pamini Ledchumykanthan was lovely and very helpful.

The Bush Doctors Surgery

Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital

Du Cane Rd, Shepherd's Bush, London W12 0HS, UK – 020 3313 1111

Outstanding; caring professionals. I have received the best care I could imagine on arrival of our son. The midwives in the centre were excellent and delivered our baby safely although the birth was not an easy one. Post natal care in the birth centre was excellent. Even after being discharged I could count on them and give a call to a birth centre to ask for an advice when needed. We are both very grateful to all staff of the birth centre.

I have had two children at Queen Charlotte's, my second one last week, and I would unhesitatingly recommend it. The staff are unfailingly kind, compassionate and professional. My first pregnancy was very complicated and risky. It was handled expertly, giving me complete confidence in my medical team. I chose to return for my second baby. She was thankfully less complicated but I still received a very high standard of care, including the obstetrician of my choice and exactly the birth plan I wanted. My interactions with other parts of the maternity service (midwife helpline, birth centre, maternity triage, etc) were all good. Four stars, not five, because the antenatal clinic is utterly chaotic. I saw a different midwife at every appointment and the appointments usually ran at least an hour late. The midwives were all excellent but I felt a lack of continuity of care and support. Overall, a very positive experience.

Clean and well organised, I myself and my 2 brothers, and sister were born here. Great experience and loved the help they have offered. In my opinion one of the best hospitals for birth :) in London.

Best hospital ever, they save my life everytime i go there with a serious painful attack of my illness! Also cleanest hospital by far.

I went many times there.Fantastic lamb with cumin seeds, service was very good, house wine good. I was not impressed with sweet and sour chicken but everything else was fantastic. Definitely I will go back again. They have a new menu.

Varied, interesting menu. Spacious room. Surprised by fresh and authentic ingredients. Had morning glory greens("tung choy?") in garlic sauce. Nice steamed fish that was a tad salty but very delicate and fresh tasting. Wonton in a fantastic broth! Service warmed up to us once they knew we weren't trouble makers. Nice change from an English pub.

Chiswick Park Day Nursery and Preschool

Evershed Walk, Chiswick, London W4 5BW, UK – 0333 920 0404

This is a wonderful school, I could not ask more of them. The staff is always friendly, the facility is always clean and in good repair, and best of all the teachers treat each child as an individuals.

I feel safe leaving my children at this nursery. The staff really do care about the children and I feel that their needs are being met emotionally, educationally and socially. They keep me informed about everything, even minor incidents. They have a sensible Calpol policy, giving it when needed with the permission of a parent so I don't have to go running to pick the kids up each time a new tooth comes through and causes a bit of a temperature. There is a very low turnover of staff so the children see the same faces each day and get to know and love their key carers. They all seem to have a very good level of training. The activities are fun and educational and I'm so pleased to see the way my son has developed from a shy baby into a confident toddler here. The only downside is the price, which is high by anyone's standards, and with two children it is actually cheaper to get a nanny. However my son is so happy at Teddies that I decided it was worth it even with two as a nanny would never be able to give the attention to both children individually in the way they are cared for here.

Public & Preparatory Schools

St James Junior School

Earsby St, London W14 8SH, UK – 020 7348 1777

My son is attending St James and he is enjoying to go to school. It is very welcoming school. Small classes, well behaved children, but still with freedom to be children. Teachers are skilled and supportive. Children are engaged to participate to school's activities from very beginning. By the end of the first semester your boy or girl will happily recite Shakespear's poems and sing on Latin and Sanskrit (completely willingly with smile and happiness). Parents are friendly. Competitive credo is swapped for learning and understanding. As a parent of child who is attending St James I can't say nothing but best for this school so far. He was shy boy and now he is growing into an confident, kind, very well educated and behaved young man. Regarding things from the past, I don't know how someone can judge the school nowadays on its past... (new milenium schools and parents are different and generally schools in the past weren't some pleasant places)

I had the pleasure of running an assembly at the school and found the staff and children to be super friendly and positive. My subsequent dealings with the school have also been terrific. It's a school with a great, positive vibe!

The Godolphin and Latymer School

Iffley Rd, Hammersmith, London W6 0PG, UK – 020 8741 1936

These are brotherand sister private schools. The girls part on Ifley, Godolphin has a high gated pedestrian entry and it's very discreet. It's stone built with classic church like architecture marked by arched windows. It's partner boys only school on King Street looks even grander like a cathedral.

Amazing school .My daughter loves it
