Cinemas around London

Odeon Cinema

Queensway, London W2 4YL, UK – 0333 014 4501

Exclusive lounge area with private bar and restaurant. First class service from being greeted at the top of the glam mirrored stairs to the end of the movie. The staff and butlers are very friendly, informative and helpful #Thankyou I doubt I will attend another cinema ever again... The meals are wonderful and well presented. The sofas and reclining seats are very spacious and comfortable. (Tip for women - the ladies bathroom is very glam, perfect for the standard bathroom selfie pic;)

Odeon Cinema Whiteleys

Whiteleys, 151 Queensway, London W2 4YL, UK – 020 7792 3147

Great service, nice staff but poorly food quality not equal to the final bill. Will be better if add more staff for the gastronomic .. service during the movie .. could avoid the long wait .

We love this place - our favorite in London. Food is delicious and they have the best Burger in town.

Shepherd's Bush Green, London W12 8PP, UK – 0345 308 4620

*November 2017:* The release of "Paddington 2" was a reason for another trip to the UK and so we went here again to watch it. Awesome staff, comfy VIP seats and directly around the corner from our hotel. *December 2014:* We went here to watch "Paddington" and everything was perfect. No sticky floor, crystal clear picture, perfect sound and an almost empty theatre. A great experience!

Way better than the Westfields Vue - normal down the earth people! Quite small, and not the cleanest though

Theatres for London

Electric Cinema

191 Portobello Rd, Notting Hill, London W11 2ED, UK – 020 7908 9696

Very cosy small cinema. Comfy red sofas with footstools at the end. There were even cashmere blankets for use. Small table on either side. Only critique is that there isn’t a waiting area with seats if you’re a little early and if you need to use the toilets you have to go the electric diner which is next door. Don’t recommend the electric diner missed our on food because of staff communication issues

This theater is historic and the inside looks very regal. There are nice arms chairs, couches or front row beds to choose from. We chose the front row bed and loved it. They are comfortable and appear to be very clean. They provide you with nice blankets. There is a bar with some snacks at the back of the theater. We absolutely loved it! Definitely recommend!

Bush Theatre

7 Uxbridge Rd, Shepherd's Bush, London W12 8LJ, UK – 020 8743 5050

Excellent fringe theatre venue: With a Bush Theatre membership card you are eligible for a 10% discount off performance tickets and food and drink at the bar. They have a nice quiet area to work in during the day with fast WIFI and a more communal area to meet up with friends and chew the fat over a coffee or a drink round the other side of the bar. The outdoor area is nice; the venue itself is a good place to play Backgammon.

Excellent venue for contemporary theatre, with a well stocked bar that also sells sandwiches and cake 🍰 The reading room makes a for a warm, civilised retreat from the bustle of Shepherd's Bush when you have an hour to kill, and the terrace is a great place for a cold pint on a hot day.

Olympic Studios

117-123 Church Rd, Barnes, London SW13 9HL, UK – 020 8912 5161

Great venue, trendy with delicious food (allergy friendly options and knowledgeable staff). They have a wheelchair/access lift to left of main steps in. Also lift to upper screens. I attended for a conference and they offered to unscrew one of the seats so I could position wheelchair in the row. Also spaces on both sides of front rows. Accessible loo on first floor, o a little way off from restaurant/cafe (tight turning circle though - see photo). Lush thick carpet looks nice but isn't super easy with wheels!

An absolute gem. Went to see a remastered version of Terminator 2. Showing was excellent but the experience of the place was better. Also not stupidly priced. Great date spot. Also don't bother sneaking in your own snacks. Popcorn and drinks are fair prices.
